Why Do I Love God?

At prayer this evening, Pastor asked the group why did we love God. At first, I didn't know what to say, why did I love God. As I begin to think about it, I realized why I love God. He is the epitome of Love (its perfection). He is the maker of everything that lives and breathes. He is my provider. My comfort. My peace. He is the place where I can go and take refuge. He loves me and cares for me so much that He gave Jesus to be crucified for me. He is my best friend. He reprimands me for my ill decisions and mistakes, but also comforts me in the process. Great is thy Faithfulness O God! For He was faithful to me when I turned my back on Him. He created every fiber of my being. Most of all, He saved me from a life of emptiness and filled it with purpose!

Well. This blog is my journey with my personal lord and savior, Jesus Christ. My goal, with this blog, is to encourage, uplift, and challenge those who read this to find their own personal relationship with God. Though life has ups and downs, God doesn't. He never changes, He is constant. He is my rock, my peace, my life. In everything I do, it is for His glory alone!
